Of course, I was impossible at soundcheck once again and becoming quite flagrant. This show was the complete opposite of the night before in Tubingen. Meaning it was so hard to fill but the sound was fantastic. The highlight for me came in "METHOD TO MY MADNESS". There is a set up just before Brian’s solo for his launch. Just as I barked " CUM ON BRI!!", he was engulfed in A GREAT GUST OF SMOKE!!

I swear sometimes Brian is channeling when he rips out a solo. Those familiar, know the look....head tilted, peering out the corner of his brow, ...bottom jaw grinding. It was superbly fiendish last night and I actually caught chills to share the stage. Michael of THE NERVES was present again after having to leave early the previous night. Half our camp is sporting NERVES Shirts now..."333 Halfway to hell" Our hotel was terrific and we all managed to stay sober until we returned to it and realized it was only midnight. A "NIGHT CAP" turned into a 70$ tab for 4 of us but we still managed to wake in time for a beautiful GERMAN BREAKFAST.
