Mortimer’s Curse
Similar to “Murphy’s Law”: When Mortimer is scheduled for a shift he normally does not work, and that particular shift is one of the busier ones, it will be the slowest night ever for that particular evening.
If Mortimer is put on a bar that normally shuts early, that bar will be the last to close in the building, no matter the lack of business thereof.
Mortimer does apologize to his cow-orkers and patrons during those times when the Mortimer’s Curse is in effect.

Morgan Wells and Lemon Fresh Joy are two of my very best friends. They are a hoot and a hollar and the best party guests. You cannot drink them under the table and you will bust a gut from laughing the entire time you are with them.

Miss Patti
She's my best and longest friend here in Atlantic City. We met in 1983/84 during classes for the opening of the Rainbow Hilton (which later became Trump's Castle then Trump Marina) and have been fast friends since.
She is my be all and end all.

Delio
Little Jose. Delio (DEAL-e-oh) is his middle name. There are several Jose's that work at the club, which is where the "little" came in but, when his brothers came to visit, they called him Delio, which I thought was cute. I began calling him that, and he didn't correct me and now we all usually refer to him as Delio.
Also known as "mi nino bueno" or "mi nino malo" (my good/bad little boy) depending on whether or not I am angry with him. I only call him "mi nino" when we are talking to each other.
He is one of my closest friends and I love him to pieces!
Addendum: After the last few months I have learned that he and I were never friends, he used me for years to get what he wanted.
