O Sweet Baby Jesus, it was nice enough today that Ken was able to grill some pork ribs with some barbecue sauce, and were they tasty?! Yes, they were! Meanwhile, back in the kitchen, I was rustlin' up some roasted asparagus, bakin' some garlic, and toastin' some French bread brushed with olive oil in the oven. It was all mighty tasty.

The first cookout of the season is always a special one. It's a feeling of..."finally!"

Yum.

Always love a bbq!!  Although here in AZ, we can bbq all year long (sorry, I just had to!)  Our problem is not the weather...its what to cook!  Tomorrow we'll grill a couple of meals for the week.  I love baked garlic...

Sounds delicious, I love Asparagus as well they're also nice done on the barbie, with bread I usually make my own garlic butter, with a cottage loaf I slice it not all the way to the bottom spread it with the garlic butter cover in foil and bake in the oven for 15-20 mins opening up the foil for the last five minutes for the bread to crisp up. It's after 3 am in the morning here and now I feel hungry...lol
