Safe Puppy Purchases

A lot of web sites where you can buy puppies are popping up all over the Internet and I would like to raise the awareness about where to go and where not to go to find your puppy.

On most sites anyone can post puppies they have for sale, and you don't know as a buyer who you are buying from. I absolutely dislike puppy-mills, places where people breed dogs just for the money. Lots of puppy-mills have been accused of animalabuse and have been shut down.

The place I really like is http://www.pawsitesonline.com where you have screened breeders and if you buy from one of the breeders listed there you know who you buy from. If you have any type of problems with your dog, then you can contact the breeder drirectly. Buying from PuppyFind or any other big web site with puppies for sale, then you have no way of contacting the breeder since you don't know who the breeder is.

It takes a little bit more effort at PawSitesOnline to find the dog or even cat that you want but it's worth it in the long run.

  If anybody have any bad experience buying dogsonline, please post a comment about it and we'll warn other people from going to the same site.
  We have heard a lot about PuppyFind so be extra careful if you buy a dog fromthat site!
