Feeling Happy

purple

Monica's every picture tells a story photo challenge is on purple this week.  I looked around my house and could find nothing purple and was in "despair" almost because I wanted to play this challenge since I consider Monica a very dear friend and I like participating in her photo challenges, Krissy's photo shoots and maybe one day even Martha's photo challenges.

I was out walking Koda this morning, praying, thinking about this and saw some pretty purple flowers and then the Lord opened up what I should do as an entry.

these are flowers from outside my house, so they fit the theme of purple. As indeed every picture tells a story, these tell a story too.

I don't collect much things, books basically, I'm not a decorator although I admire those that have the skill and knack to put things together and everything looks so nice and comfy and cosy in their house. I'm not one of those people; my walls are bare and I hardly have any knick-knacks, in fact no knick-knacks. I am not sure if that's from moving so much, although Robin moves a lot and looking at her pictures of her house, she is an excellent decorator (and wonderful friend).

I think we all have wonderful gifts and talents the Lord gives us; my talent might not lie in decorating, and therefore not having anything purple (and I don't usually wear purple), but I do have gifts the Lord gave me. Now I just have to remember to use those gifts, Lord, you know exactly what I'm talking about, Lord, thank you :)

and indeed every picture tells a story

The flowers in the first picture grow everywhere in California except in our yard where we had planted them a couple of years ago, lol....
A great find for your purple entry!!
    Linda :)
