Feeling Happy

the answer

First of all, I want to thank everyone that voted; that was neat to see the different responses.

Koda getting married got the least votes and that's not what is happening.  He's a bit of a bed hog so I think he wouldn't make a good husband.  He's also a little food-driven and has food on his mind all the time, not good in a relationship.  Besides, he's not fond of other dogs.

My son getting married got the second to least votes.  Although he sort of has a girfriend, (its such a complicated story I don't even understand it myself) he's definitely not getting married nor is he ready to get married emotionally, mentally and financially.  And while some people can get married at young ages and the marriages last a lifetime, in his case at 19, that would not be the case.  He needs to mature just a TINY bit.  Okay, more than a tiny bit.  Plus I want him to have the Lord's best for him and that girl has to be fully committed to the Lord and on fire for him and if I want him to have the best, then she should have the best too and right now he's not fully committed to the Lord (barely committed, but that's okay, we're praying).

Moving back to Montana got the most votes which kind of surprised me, but then didn't because I do talk a lot about Montana but in the 15 months that I wasn't journaling, I did a lot of talking with the Lord and the Lord worked a lot in me and Montana was a wonderful place to live for 8 years, but its not where we are to be right now.  I think Montana will always hold a very special place in my heart because its where I came to have a deeper one-on-one relationship with the Lord and for that I'm eternally grateful, but Montana also had its share of problems and also were the roughest 8 years of our lives.  I don't want to equate Montana with the Israelites who used to be slaves in Egypt and when they were freed by the hand of the Lord, even though they were going to a Promised Land with milk and honey, they grumbled about leaving Egypt and the wonderful spices and foods they had there. They forgot the fact they were slaves and had to work hard for what they got and were hated by the Egyptians, hated so much the Pharoah killed the little Israelite baby boys so they wouldn't rise up and take over the country.  So, no, Montana was wonderful, but no, we aren't moving back there.

The second to the most votes was moving to another part of California and yep, that's my news! We are moving about 45 minutes inland from where we are right now.  I'm going to be living closer to where Kelli lives.  My husband found a new job in the field he works in (for his privacy, I'm not saying what it is) and it is a wonderful job and opportunity. For the past year and perhaps a bit longer, he has been unhappy with the job that brought us down here.  It didn't live quite up to what was promised and there were unethical things going on there that didn't sit well with him. The Lord brought us down here for a reason, that I know, and the Lord opened a door for us at this place we are going, that I know for sure.  He had a couple of other offers but the timing was not right, the timing is right now. My son is not 100% sure he's moving with us, I'm thinking he will and get his own place with some friends who also want to move.  Its less expensive rent-wise there so its a win-win situation all around plus I know in my heart the Lord has gone ahead of us and prepared a place for us there.

Thanks all for voting and thanks Kelli for giving me the info I needed and for keeping my secret.  By the way, check out Kelli's journal, she is one funny, compassionate, loving woman.
