Feeling Quiet

every picture tells a story#3

Time once again for Monica's 'Every Picture Tells a Story' #3!

This weeks photo/story is: I found this _______________ (seashell, ring, cobweb, flower, rare stamp)  Where and how did you find it? Do you often find "treasures"?

Photos and stories due by Monday the 14th at noon pacific standard time. :-)  As always I look forward to seeing what treasures you have found!

Geesh, I'm just under the wire on this one; again, I was clueless what to include since I don't usually find things so I asked the Lord to help me, and of course, he did.

One of the parks Koda and me walk around has a tennis court. We're always finding the balls that have been hit over the fence a little too aggressively or a little bit off course.  We leave them there because he has enough tennis balls at home (including the one in this picture), but I have 2 cute stories about finding them at the park.

About a week ago, we were walking in the evening, my husband and me with Koda, and we saw a tennis ball right by the courts and people were on the court right by the ball so I yelled over the fence "hey guys, did you lose a ball" which just got my husband laughing; of course, they were all teenagers playing. They said "leave it for next the next player" so I said "okay" and then it dawned on me what I said and we had a good laugh. I won't be asking that one again, LOL.

Not this past Saturday, but the Saturday before, Koda and me were at the park walking; usually every Saturday we see the same group of men playing doubles on one of the courts.  This timeI only saw one of them on the court so I thought maybe we were early and they weren't all there.  Three of them were outside the court looking for a lost ball.  I thought it was kind of funny that they were taking time looking for a lost ball when they looked like they were affluent and the cars lined up by the court were not inexpensive ones, but maybe that's how they got so affluent by being careful with their possessions.  I said a prayer asking the Lord to help me find the ball and he did and it was not in the area they were looking so I directed them to it.  They thanked me and Koda; I thanked the Lord, not in their presence, but after they went back to their game.

Anyway, that's what we find.

    Hi betty.

Boy, what a difficult topic for a photo!  You are very smart to think of something.  I wouldn't have had a clue.
