A City Girl's Life In The Country

Well now the horses are close to home...  9/30/07 We moved the entire crew to Weldon which is about 11.8 miles from my place and just a couple of miles down the road from my favorite swapmeet.

There's Grey, FINALLY really wearing his 1960's Circle Y saddle getting ready to go on his FIRST trail ride in over 3 years.

There's Grey and I on our first trail ride to the lake (Lake Isabella) from the stable in Weldon.  Grey was on his BEST behavior and I couldn't believe he was the SAME horse I'd known for over 6 years.  This pic shows just how much weight I've lost since moving EAST.
