Frustration-Confusion

My camera died.   It was a Kodak EasyShare C330.   I didn't like the delay between pressing the button and the flash.  It caused me and others to miss a lot of good shots.

ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR A REPLACEMENT?

Oh, I almost forgot to say that Nikon makes good cameras, but could be expensive...an not so simple as a Kodak, but to me they are about like the Canons! and I personnaly like the canons better for everyday use...but still, must say my trusty old Kodak never fails me...(unless I forget the batteries!) I've been looking at cameras...planning...oneday next year to get one...and right now if I had to get a new one it would be the Kodak...just not the easyshare...cause it didn't seem to be as durable, (Your's was proof of that!) But I'm not sure they make my model anymore, haven't seen it. Love2U and happy camera hunting!!!

My camera is a Kodak DC3400 zoom digital, and it's been one tough camera! It's about 5 years old...been dropped lots of times, even gotten it alittle damp a time or two, but it still works fine! I think yours was newer, I'd like a new one and wondered about the cannons, they are good but I have to have a very durable one,  and mine is still going strong...even though it's age is showing, a tiny hair appears in some pics with very light backgrounds...don't know how it got into the lens or how to clean it out! Sony seems to be durable and good price. I paid $300 for mine and I'd rather not spend the price of a cannon and it not last me but 2 years...I love a cannon...great quality pics...just hasn't ever lasted more than 2 years for me. And the same goes for the Sony...they aren't so durable, almost the same as a cannon, just not quite the same quality...but a great price! I'd have to go with a Kodak most likely...for quality pics, durability and reasonable price!! Hope that helps!

I recommend a Nikon D300 DX 12.3MP Digital SLR Camera with 18-200mm Lens or a Canon - EOS 5D 12.8MP Digital SLR Camera. If I could have my pick of either one, it would be the canon. :) Love, Lynn

my daughter has a small sony that lets her get real close ups of flowers and bugs without an added lens. She says it has a magnifying glass. When I talk to her I will get the model number for you. I would love to have one like it but my camera is nearly new.
