Hearing Pop pretending he has Tourette's Syndrome
The Do-Humans-Really-W ake-Up-This-Early? Coffee Post

Pop dropped off rather quickly last night and I was so exhausted I just about passed out on the sofa within a half hour after him. However, it didn't last long. Unfortunately, it was long enough for me to fall into a deep sleep so the waking up was harder and the not being able to get back to it is almost tortureous.
He doesn't really want or need anything. Sometimes he's even asleep when he does it.
He simply yells.
About a half hour ago it started to get particularly loud. I think he's beginning to wake up for the day. I was just in there with him a few minutes ago because this time he was starting to sound a bit panicked. His eyes were wide and his expression was the one he gets when he doesn't know what's going on.
For him to wake up in the middle of the night and be confused isn't too odd.
But never at this time in the morning. This is new.
I wonder what it means.
Anyhow, I'm going to try to get them both down to the clinic for blood tests today (their checkup appointment is on Wednesday). We'll see what comes of that. Ma was trying to bail out of it because she gets so upset when we try to take Pop somewhere and he's loud. His social behavior is extremely unpredictable at this point. Anything could come out of that boy's mouth.
Hmmm... not to change the subject, but Ma was right. There IS something running around on our roof in the mornings...
And not to change the subject again, but Pop seems to have dropped back off to a quiet period. I'm gonna get off of here and try to take advantage of it!
