Quick Update

In a word, no significant new information from the the new significant neurologist.  Another MRI and EEG on April 30th

Wouldn't have made any difference if he would have given me new information. It wouldn't have changed my situation one bit, really.  I'd still be here with the same symptoms, taking the same meds, in the same situation.

I need to start keeping my feet on the ground when it comes to seeing the doctor.  For once in my life it is crystal clear that I need to be practical for a change.

I need time to process.

At the end of the day, your the one who knows just how much you can or cannot do. With that knowledge you are given choices on what has the most importance to you and everything else takes a number thereafter. (Hugs) Indigo

If I may, Mary Jo, it might help to ALWAYS keep it in the front of your thoughts that YOU ARE IN CHARGE no matter what test results spit out.  Yes, our diagnoses techniques help alot, but at the end of the day it's just you.  I'd try and decide how much you really want to invest in what's wrong, when it might be better to concentrate on all that's RIGHT about you!!  XOXO CATHY

Yes you do.  Even in normal, boring, everyday life, we need time to stop and process things.  With all you have going on in your life, you certainly need that time.  I'm so sorry I haven't been by in a while.  I was out of journaling for quite a while, or at least form reading journals, because of things going on here, but am trying to catch up with everyone.  I hope you're doing fairly well.

Being as informed as possible is a smart way to approach life-especially when you've been handed a mystery like MS.  Keeping it in perspective is what becomes challenging.  You are in my thoughts, MJ.
