This IT news is provided from the West Technology Limited

According to foreign media reports, Apple released a new version of iPod that has a number of new features and new services on September 9, which had a considerable impact on Microsoft's Zune.

For Microsoft, the good news is Zune and Apple's new iPod Nano and iPod Classic pricing the same product line. The two companies of 120 GB hard drive version of both players at 249 U.S. dollars, and 16 GB and 8 GB flash player version of the prices are for 199 U.S. dollars and 149 U.S. dollars. But the bad news is that the new Apple iPod Nano recording and "Shake to Shuffle" (This feature allows users to sloshing players to reset player list), and other functions will create greater pressure on Microsoft. In addition, although Apple's "Genius" features not recommend the Zune features as complete, but it still made up less than Apple's one.

In the field of video, the Zune has no substantial advantage, so Apple is still ahead of Microsoft. The new iTunes can provide high-definition television programmes, but also to Apple and NBC reached a cooperation intention of making Zune in the video only point advantage lost.

Of course, the iPod Touch. Although Microsoft decided to give up more Web browsing, but are standard in all models of Zune Wi-Fi function. In other words, because their products through Wi-Fi to download music, Microsoft in the low-end market has certain advantages. But in high-end market, Apple's advantage is even more obvious. Moreover, as more applications to join the camp of the iPhone, iPod Touch will also benefit from it, so Apple's advantage will continue to expand. For example, Apple has confirmed the new iPod Touch will be able to run the famous game, "Spore" (Spore). Although the new Zune also increased by two games, but before Nano can support these two games.

In addition, to access iTunes stor through the Wi-Fi function of the iPod Touch is more convienient than that through Marketplace of Zune. Because the iPod Touch can be used in more places. In addition Zune can only download music through the Wi-Fi and can not ve used to browse web.
