Media (Obama) KoolAid and History Repeating (Reply)

Scottsoperson Writes:  "The fairy tale is over."
Obama's pixie dust is wearing off.
A few in the corporate media are finally starting to reveal some details about this man's judgment.
I speak of Obama's long association with his spiritual advisor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright.
Obama says he didn't know Wright was far, far left. While that is hard to believe, it says that Obama is not a very discerning judge of character. And it shows poor judgment for a presidential candidate to allow such an extremist to serve on his campaign.

Reply:  I couldn't agree more.

Corporate media "sold" America the Iraq war in 2003.   In fact, they played cheerleader for it. Remember all those "imbedded reporters?"  Remember the Baghdad "Shock and Awe" show like July 4th fireworks on our TVs?  Remember the fall of the Saddam statue?  Remember how we were told that we would be "greeted with flowers" in Iraq?

Now, most of corporate media (particularly, NBC and CNN) is cheerleading for Barack Obama.

Are they selling us another bill of goods?

I think so.

For the past two days, major media is running straight press releases from the Obama campaign as so-called, "news."

"Did Hillary Clinton LIE about her trip to Bosnia?"  "Where's the sniper fire?" they ask?

No, it doesn't appear Hillary was shot at when getting off the Helicopter.  But, she WAS surrounded by combat troops in full military gear.    What does that say?

The video footage reminds one of John McCain's walk through a Baghdad market.  He wasn't shot at either.

But, would anyone doubt that Baghdad is a combat zone?

Anyone who thinks that the footage of Hillary getting off the Copter in war torn Bosnia is more "damaging" to her campaign than Obama's former and PRESENT pastors' hateful, paranoid railings against white people and the United States really needs to stop drinking the media Koolaid.

Many of the media people in orgasmic frenzy over Obama now were the same people who told us in 2000 that George W. Bush was the man everyone "wanted to have a beer with" while Al Gore was the one "lying" that he "Invented the Internet."

Corporate media is doing the same now to Hillary Clinton that it did to Al Gore in 2000.  Remember the endless charges of "sore loser" when Gore contested the 2000 election and demanded a Florida recount?

Wow, how history does repeat itself!

The question is, is the American public once again, going to swallow the media KoolAid as it did in 2000 and 2003?

God help us, if electing a far left radical to President of the United States.

This is one Hillary supporter who will have to hold her nose and pull the lever for McCain should Obama (tragically) be the Democratic nominee. -- PCA
