Ok, today, my wife and I were driving our daughter to gymnastics, and we saw three houses awash with Christmas tree lights and one even still had their Christmas tree up. The houses were as brightly lit as you would see houses lit during the holiday season. It is a bit tacky for houses to still have their Christmas tree lights up unlit all year round (laziness). But, these houses were fully lit. I can understand keeping lights up and lit through the end of the year, and even up to the 6th of January, because that is the day celebrated by Catholics and Hispanics for the arrival of the three kings - but, come on, it is January 19th, someone tell these folks Christmas is over, and it is time to take down the lights. Must be liberals, because we know they are clueless.

I take mine down New Years day. If for some reason I can't do it that day, I take them down as soon as possible but never turn them on.

Right Mark -- must be clueless liberals, still celebrating Christmas. Because all liberals are clueless and lazy and love Christmas. Oh -- wait a minute -- I thought we were all godless commies as well as clueless and lazy.
So what's with the lights? Maybe they are conservatives? Maybe they are lazy conservatives -- if they are conservatives, we know they aren't clueless...
In any case, I think you have a point. Let's make a law regulating how people may celebrate Christmas, and throw people in jail for exceeding limits that you get to define for everyone. It won't be Constitutional, but let's do it anyway. We'll show those lazt clueless liberals!

OMG .. ditto .. i live on a military base and the housing are like twon houses al next to eachother row after row .. the peple directly accross the street still have their lights ... i might also add that they have been up since before Thanksgiving and they have been turned on only like 5 times the enite season ... i mean why go through all that trouble to not use them ?? ... anyway i soo agree with that one ..
Thanks for the comment you left in my political journal .. i really thinks its cool when someone says how much they are greatful for what "OUR" men and women do .. few people realize they have families .. and it makes it easier for us .. Thanks Mark .. ya made my day ! ............ Stephanie
