Guidelines: AOL Members Poetry Blogs
This is a place where random readers can find a place of refuge in poetry. At this time, Blogging Poetry will be set up with three categories but is open to change based on feedback.
1) Blogging Poetry 80% or more These Blogs are poetry blogs. You dedicate at least 80% or more of your entries to poetry that you write. This isn't a blog category that dedicates most of its entries to other writers. Posting from others writers is fine as long your blog is mostly your work.
2) Blogging Poetry 50% or more This category is for blogs that dedicate approximately 50% of their entries to poetry written by you or other writers. I would strongly recommend you might consider creating an entry for your poetry links(mentioned below), to assist the reader in finding your writings.
3) Blogging Poetry Entries This is for bloggers that write poetry off and on but wouldnt consider their blog a poetry blog. In order to be included in this category, you must create an entry that says something like, "My Poetry Links." I will post that entry here for readers to see your work. Please update this entry with the poetry entries you will post in the future. This way the reader doesn't have to search your site to find your writings. You may also include poetry from what other have written as well. The reason for these categories is to make it easier for the reader to browse. When you want to buy a car you don't go to the grocery store. If someone wants to read poetry lets make that endeavor, easy.
