Stain Removal Guide
A word about babies... Stain removal procedures often require the use of heavy duty detergents which can irritate baby’s skin. Remember to re-wash clothing using a gentle detergent specially formulated for babies, or run the load through an extra rinse cycle.
BABY FOOD - Rinse in cool water. Pre-treat stain with a paste made of powdered enzyme detergent and water, or use a liquid enzyme detergent. Allow to stand 30 minutes. Launder using hottest water safe for fabric.
BABY FORMULA - Soak in a gallon of cool water with 2 tablespoons of enzyme detergent for 30 minutes. Launder in hottest water safe for fabric. Difficult stains may require chlorine or all-fabric bleach.
BALLPOINT INK - Sponge stain with rubbing alcohol. Rub a small amount of detergent into stain. Launder as usual using chlorine bleach if care label allows; otherwise, use all-fabric bleach.
BLOOD - Rinse fresh stains under cold running water, rubbing with a bar of soap. Rinse and launder. For dried stains, soak in a gallon of warm water with 2 tablespoons of enzyme detergent. If stain persists, use a chlorine or all-fabric bleach.

GOOD HOME COOKED SORGHUM MOLASSES, 50 CENTS A GALLON, AT TIMES MORE IF IT TURNED OUT SPECIAL.
EGGS 12 CENTS A DOZEN. GRAIN ELEVATOR OPERATOR PAID 15 CENTS A BUSHEL FOR 'EAR' FIELD CORN.
NEAR THE FARMER'S MARKET IN TULSA WAS A RESTAURANT WHERE FAMILY STYLE MEALS COST 25 CENTS INCLUDING DRINK AND DESERT.
( IN LATER YEARS I LEARNED THAT THE 25 CENT MEALS WERE PROVIDED BY A CHRISTIAN PHILANTHROPIST, USING SOME VOLUNTEER HELP AND MANY OF THE VEGETABLES AND FRUIT HAD BEEN DONATED WHEN FARMERS AT THE MARKET REALIZED THE SURPLUS COULD CONTRIBUTE TO THE 25 CENT MEALS)
BILL GATES COULD BE A DECENDANT OF SUCH A PHILANTHROPIST. IT TRULY IS BETTER TO GIVE THAN TO RECEIVE. sam
