I know the feeling! After years and years of being looked at like I'm nuts, and people, who by the way were suppose to be my friends, have left me. I have thought long and hard about this, and I now use this to explain our problem to people.
Fibro, and suger diabetics has a lot in common. Neither of us look ill. There is no signs that say we have Fibro, as there is with cancer. However, there is no signs that you are a diabetic either. Yet, people realize that they have a disease that can be fine one day, and out of control the next. Just like Fibro.
One day you feel like you could swim the ocean. The next day you crawl to the bathroom. It is not in your head, the pain is real, and anyone who doesn't stick by you, isn't the friend you thought they were.
I have read much on this thing that has come to mess up our lives, and I found the first thing to do is find a good doctor. You can find one under Pain Management in the phone book.

Hi my name is Trees due to me having extreme pain from fibro, chronic fatigue and arthritis and osteoporosis and diabetes and a very bad cold which has flared up everything, I have not been around very much. Today, I talked to a long time friend who really needs help. I have sent her the links to these journals and hopefully she will tell how she feels. I hope it was alright to give her these links as I feel it is really necessary she reads this and knows she is not alone. I have not used my journal for quite some time.
