MetFan vs. Phillsfan

Pedro and Carlos Beltran proved to be too much for John Leiber and the Phillies as the Mets won 5-1, Beltran closed the deal off hitting a three home run off the right field score board. Pedro got his third win of the year pitching 7 solid innings and adding to his strike out total. Right now the Phillies have proven to be the early season weak link in the NL East and with the subtraction of Jim Thome with back problems they don't seem to be improving. The Mets are young and quick up the middle and proved this when Jose Reyes had an infield single then stole second for his second stolen base of the night and 6th of the season.
