MetFan vs. Phillsfan

Today I was playing a game in the eastern part of Long Island at a place called baseball heaven. It is an amazing complex with turf fields, professional drainage system and seats along the fences. Well one of my teammates decided to be cool and flip the ball to a fan after retiring the last batter, well he thought it turns out there were only two outs after he made the catch and each runner was awarded a base, the ball was ruled dead. We still won so we joked about it and it made me think of my old friend Benny Agbayani who also performed this feat one of his most famous besides his game winning hit against the Yankees in the 2000 Subway Series. So I did some reasearch on him, knowing he was out of the majors and he's playing ball in Japan under another old pal Bobby Valentine. Valentine's team the Chiba Lotte Marines are in first place and everyone over there admires him. The players have the utmost respect for him as well as the fans. He has a large say in what goes on even to the extent of putting in his input on the new jersey's for this year. Agbayani bats cleanup and has 6 homeruns as well as 37 RBI's which leads the league. Valentine has a fun job here and the players have fun with him, a little while ago to celebrate Valentine's 55th birthday they all went out and wore sun glasses and a fake beard in Valentines infamous play with the Mets when he was thrown out of the game then returned with is conspicuous costume. Valentine was always a fan favorite here and continues to be there signing autographs on top of the dug outs before games, he left the Mets after a disappointing 2001 and 2002 seasons which we all learned were not his fault after Art Howe also failed. Bobby Valentine and Benny Agbayani will always be fan favorites of New York and we wish them the best of luck.
