Here are just a few more of the radical "restructuring policies" that have ebayers uniting for the May 1st boycott:
Ebay is now hiding bidders ID, making it easier for abusers to shill bid (falsely raising bids) against honest buyers. Paypal (reportedly owned by ebay) announced on March 14, 2008 it's vague new amendment of withholding funds for 21 days, or more, from sellers, if Paypal "believes" the transaction "may" be risky. Such a vague amendment puts all sellers in jeopardy of having funds withheld. Also of controversy, is the new "Best Matches" search where ebay claims the best sellers will be place on the front pages of this search, while other sellers (that ebay deems are of lesser value) will be banned to the back pages of searches. Ebayers are already finding that even listings of sellers with perfect 100% feedbacks and 5 star ratings are being placed behind sellers with less sales, with lower feedback ratings and lower DSR scores. The May 1st boycott is not about one issue. The numerous "restructuring" policies effect ALL ebayers, power sellers, small sellers AND buyers.
