Wow, guess it's been awhile.

Ashton's now 20 months old and has 11 teeth.  He is extremely active and loves to be rebellious.  Typical for his age.

And in bigger news...I'm having another baby.  I'm due December 23rd and I'll find out on Monday if it's a boy or a girl.

Tonight I'm feeling very blah.  Apparently, something didn't agree with me and my stomach is killing me!  :o(

So, yes I'm still alive.  :o)

So, since I know that at least one person still reads this, I guess I can post an update. :o)

Ashton will be 14 months old on the 3rd and he's getting so big!  Still has very little hair and only 3 teeth (the third just popped through a couple of days ago).  His chunky little thighs are thinning out as he grows tall.  His little personality is blooming and he's SO funny.

I'm working part time now.  I do personal Avon sales and also work at an Avon Beauty Center.  We've got a lot of medical bills that piled up when we lost our health insurance, so this is a way to help pay those off.

I guess that's it in a nutshell.  I'll leave a picture here as well.

Feeling Happy

I can't believe I've let so much time go by since I last made an entry.

Ashton is growing up quickly!  He's now 28 inches long and weighs 21 1/2 pounds.  He can crawl and pull himself up and with those two skills he's gotten himself injured a few times now.  Who knew the coffee table would flip over?  Who knew he would crawl out the front door and face first into the sidewalk?  Moms can move quickly, but not quickly enough sometimes.

I'm struggling with separation anxiety with him right now too.  There are times when he will cry & scream when I put him down.  It's been rough.  I let him cry himself to sleep once and just didn't have a peace about it.  Now everytime he starts getting cranky, I try nursing him and 9 times out of 10 he will settle down and stop crying.  Maybe it's partially a growth spurt too.

And on top of all the ups & downs, I'm attempting to work at home again.  I'm no longer doing crafts...now I'm selling on eBay and making makeup samples.  I'm hoping to expand the brands of makeup I offer, but for now it's Bare Minerals.  Next I'd like to do MAC pigments.  We'll see how it goes.

Ok...back to work.

I've worked on the baby's room for about 30 - 45 minutes for the past 2 days.  Here's the progress.

I've packed away two large boxes of baby clothes that he's outgrown and that I will save for our next baby (hopefully).

I feel like there's a light at the end of the tunnel. 

I never knew there was a show about how clean your house is lol.  I thought I was on to something :o)

Feeling Embarrassed

Ok...as I mentioned in a previous post...I'm going to post pictures of my messy home.  I know I'm not the only one out there with a big mess on their hands...because if I was, then there would be no need for websites like Fly Lady.  Anyhow...I'm hoping that it will be a big enough embarassment that I can do something about it.  Also as a way to track my progress and feel encouraged.

On a brighter note...there are so many stinkin dishes because I've been making 3 meals a day, plus a snack & dessert.  No more eating out!  If I have to eat another Famous Star, it will be too soon.  Of course, it's healthy food, so it's been a little weird, but we're slowly getting used to it.

Good grief...they grow quickly!  Ash now weighs about 19-20 lbs and is 26 inches long.  He can sit up by himself and roll from his back to his tummy.  He's learned to shriek too which is lots of fun when we're out in public.

I'm still enjoying being a SAHM...just trying to get organized and clean though, which is a struggle.  Hmm, maybe I'll post pictures of what my place looks like right now.  Hopefully the embarassment of it will get me to do something.  With my luck, the health department would show up at my front door!  :o)

I can't believe my little boy is already 4 months old.  He weighs about 17 pounds and my arms and back can attest to that.  He's going to be dedicated at church on Sunday and all our immediate family will be there.  He'll also be getting his second set of shots on the 18th, which I am not looking forward to.
