Feeling Angry
Monday night my AC unit was not cooling.I guess it decided to take the day off since it was Labor Day, either that, or it wasn't too happy with us since it's had to work extra hours due to the hot weather we've been having. Tuesday morning, I called for service and they told me they would be here in the afternoon. To my surprise, the repairman arrived at 11:00 am. Wow, when has a repairman or any kind of service man arrived on time - much less early? Too good to be true, but I was happy about it. He fixes the problem, and hands me a bill for $200. Holy crap!!! That's double what I paid 2 years ago. Oh well, didn't have a choice but to pay it. 
The power did eventually come back, but it didn't come back early enough to let the house cool enough so I could tell if the AC was working properly or not. So here we are, almost 6:45 pm, the freaking AC is not cooling, and it's after business hours so I can't call anyone to bitch at!!! Waaaaaaaaaa, I just wanna cry!!!

That's double what I paid 2 years ago. Oh well, didn't have a choice but to pay it. The house didn't even get a chance to cool off before the power went out! Unfreakinbelievable! This made me so mad! My husband called the power company and they said there was already someone on the way to figure out what was wrong. Well, my ass was not going to wait in a house that had been without air conditioning all night long. I don't do well in heat, and it drops my sugar levels to the point that it makes me pass out. I suggested we all go out for lunch, that way we could cool off in the car on the way there and hopefully the power would be back when we got home.
Thank God the power was back on, and the AC was cooling when we got back a couple of hours later. Everything was OK this morning. After I dropped my daughter off at school I ran errands and didn't make it home until late afternoon. I'm feeling hot from being out and running around so I didn't notice right away that the house wasn't as cool as it should be! And then guess what??? The freakin power went out again!!!!! Oh man, now I'm REALLY PISSED!!!!!!! I called the power company, and asked how the hell could the same thing happen two days in a row? The stupid old hillbilly tells me, "Well, yesterday the birds got into one of the transformers, but I have no idea what the problem is today." Well, find out what the fucking problem is and fix it!!!

I called and left a message for them, but it won't do me any good because my husband is having surgery in the morning, and we'll be leaving the house by 7:00 am, so there won't be anyone home even if the AC repairman can come back tomorrow. This really sucks!!! I need my mommy! :'(

It hasn't been a good couple of days huh? I'm miserably grumpy when it's hot & humid out, so it's never a good thing to be around me when there is no AC, lol. I hope that they finally fixed the problem. Hope the surgery your husband was going in for, went well and everything is ok!!

Keep us informed about your hubby. I'm a wuss too when it comes to not having the AC. I'm so thankful for it. When I don't have it, I sit in front of the fan and can't move away from it.
