From out of the sky, the terror came,

like roaring dragons, spitting fire and flame

Twin giants standing, proud and tall,

within minutes, they began to crumble and fall.

Thousands of civilians, including fireman and cops,

flee for their lives, as the first tower drops.

Buried beneath tons, of concrete and steel,

as the world struggles, to believe this is real.

While across the country, another building burns,

the pentagons been hit, a shocked public learns.

Another terrorist hijacking, another plane crash,

hundreds more people, buried in the ash.

But on this day, many heroes were born,

passengers on flight 93, showed the terrorist scorn.

While thousands of people, all across the country too,

especially in New York, showed what Americans can do.

You dont realize, what you have done,

no matter where you hide, or where you run.

A warning to terrorist, you'd better stand by,

you should have left, the Sleeping Giant lie.
