Granny Carter's Picture Page

Here are some of the long awaited for pictures of Granny Carter.  Thanks to one of her beautiful granddaughter, Rose Estelle Carter-Jones.  I call her Peanut.  Love you my sweet girl for sharing not only the pictures of Granny Carter but your love for her as well.

Mary, has already gone home to be with God.  The other two daughters, Virginia, and Alma, I am sorry to say I don't have any pictures of.

Next I will be adding some grand children and great grand children.  Again the only pictures I have are my children and their children.  I do have a couple of Peanut, her baby girl, Dorothy and Dorothy's son, Mookey to be added.

Right now have to clean house.

Please keep checking back.  Will be adding pictures now that Frances is out of the "picture."

These words from "Jennie," a great grand daughter of Granny Carter, as well as being named after her.  "The one thing that I remember most about being around Granny is the love that I always felt."  What a great testimony.  Thank you Jennie.

Aunt Linda, How wonderful to see your name,  I do think about you.  I saw Tad at the home the day Momma died and then saw him and i believe it was Laurs at the funeral.  So how have you been.  My e-mail address is   imarodo@juno.com please write to me so we cn catch up.  I think about your Granny alot and would love to heard some stories of her.  But the good news is I have a lot of stuff that you will love to have copies of.  So can you send me an address.  That way I can send you all of it.  If I know Momma and I do know Momma she would not mind you having it.  As for Uncle Ted you know tht I still love him and let him go, God will always make a way and it isn't always the way we think it should be.  As for pictures well I have got them also.  So what are you up to .  I want all the news so as I said e-mail me and let's catch up.  I still love you and have never forgotten you.   P-NUT

Oh PNut how wonderful to hear from you.  I often think of you and hope you and yours are doing fine. Thank you so much for signing her page.

It is such a pleasure to me to be able to do a memorial page to her memory.  I will probably never be able to get any pictures of her to post, being an ex does nothing in my favor, but anyway I have tried to honor her memory which also means a lot to me.  With out them there would never have been a Ted so that I could be blessed with Tad, Joyce and Laura.

PNut if you would like to add any of the stories you have, please feel free to do so.  I am working a page for Grandpa Carter as well.  Laura has tole me that Virginia has the whole family history , but I am unable to get any of their infomation.  I even tried to reach Alma but was unable to do so.

I am so very sorry that it has taken me so long to answer you.  My computer was down and Lora and Carmine fixed it for me and I am now trying to get caught up.

Again thank you for your comment.

Your Aunt Linda at one time.

    hopefulalto,

Thank you so much for signing Her page.  If you would like to share any family infomation that you have, please feel free to do so.  It would be an honor, not only to me, but mainly to Granny Carter.

    Thank you,

    Linda

I am the grand daughter of Jennie Carter, and have a daughter named after her.  I was raised by her and her husband John in Jacksonville, FL.  There were so many stories that Grandaddy told us.  My nickname was P-NUT.  And the father of Tad, laura, and Joyce is my beloved Uncle Ted. There was a spirit of love between these two John and Jennie that could have only have came from their first love that was God.  Thank you Mom and Dad for being the parents you were.
