In addition, since no other children of Eden and Susan (Lee) Dudley were mentioned in Sampson Lee's will, one might postulate that Susan died in childbirth with Nancy or sometime thereafter, but before bearing any additional children. This paragraph documents the fact that Elam Dudley was Sampson's son-in-law, and that there was another Lee daughter in addition to Temperance and Susan. Also, since no children of Elam Dudley and the unknown Lee daughter were listed as heirs in Sampson Lee's will, one might deduce that this couple never had any children or their children did not survive until 1828 when Sampson Lee wrote his will.
