Feeling Quiet
Hearing Suthern Gospel
A bit of humor from NC 1883
Historical Newspapers > Landmark, The (Statesville, North Carolina) >
1883 > June > 15 .......
State News Section...
"Says the Wilson Advance: Mr. Hanse Braswell, of Nash county,
had two sons who bore the names of Peter Flam Lanton Ham Tom Sam
A. Braswell and Charles DeBerry Isham Luci Richard Haywood
Hansel A. Braswell. When Mr. Braswell was asked what the
"A" stood for he answered "nothing in particular."
*********
I doubt he ever got angry with either son, imagine
calling each by their complete names to let them
know you are upset about something!
