Suzy - She makes me laugh with her entries, she makes me realize I'm not alone in many of my adventures in life. She's a wonderful kind hearted person - which she might try to deny but, whatever! I KNOW what I know.
Martha - What a wonderful woman! She has been so full of encouragement. When I doubted myself she pushed me forward and made me believe in myself again.
To all these wonderful women, I say THANK-YOU. Nice truly matters and we all need more people like this in our lives.
I checked out two police departments in the area and both were hiring and inNEED of police officers! Both were offering good pay and sweet benefits.
I'm praying, thinking positive thoughts, crossing my toes and fingers that it works out that they move close by so I can be a full time grandma. Oh that would be the sweetest thing for me.

Nice Matters
This past week Linda (Footprints in the Sand) blessed me with a Nice Matters award. I was truly surprised and honestly elated to be selected. I've always been the kind who stays in the shadows and avoids attracting any attention. Meaning awards and things always go to others. I have no problem with that, I rather like the supporting role.
Now the really hard part, I am now to present this award to some nice people in my world. I have several I could think of, and they may have already received a Nice Matters Award but, they can get a second one, right?
Bridgett - She's mom to two adorable children, Parker & Autumn. She always has a positive and supportive comment, she has e-mailed letters of support when I had my health scare and with her e-mail she provided me that glimmer of hope that I needed.
Suzy - She makes me laugh with her entries, she makes me realize I'm not alone in many of my adventures in life. She's a wonderful kind hearted person - which she might try to deny but, whatever! I KNOW what I know.
Gretchen - Compassionate (now former) military wife and mom. She has experienced a loss that no mom should ever have to face. I just want to give her a BIG HUGE hug. She always has something nice to say.
Martha - What a wonderful woman! She has been so full of encouragement. When I doubted myself she pushed me forward and made me believe in myself again.
Jae - While I don't hear much from Jae lately, I feel she truly deserves a Nice Matters Award. There have been many times, she has listened to my struggles. She earned my trust by keeping such in strict confidence.
Last but certainly not least, Kimberly - my beautiful daughter who no longer journals. She's not only kind, she's loving, caring and did a lot for me around the house when I wasn't physically able.
To all these wonderful women, I say THANK-YOU. Nice truly matters and we all need more people like this in our lives.

While I'm writing an entry today, I need (okay - want) to share a bit of news. I'm trying not to get terribly excited. It's hard! My son called this morning and said that the police departments he was checking out in MI weren't hiring so, they are looking at WA!
I checked out two police departments in the area and both were hiring and inNEED of police officers! Both were offering good pay and sweet benefits.
The other benefit they would get IF they seriously consider moving here ... A FREE BABYSITTER! I work from homeand would LOVE more than life itself to care for my sweet granddaughters! Right now they are paying $900.00 a MONTH for daycare!!! Isn't that insane!?!? Especially when Grandma wants to do it for FREE! That money can go to a house payment.
I'm praying, thinking positive thoughts, crossing my toes and fingers that it works out that they move close by so I can be a full time grandma. Oh that would be the sweetest thing for me.

Congratulations and well deserved hon! Keeping you in my prayers on the smoke, the move to WA happens! You sound tickled pink at the thought of having your granddaughters around. (Hugs) Indigo
