Hunter is my daughter's kitty. She will whistle for him like a dog and he comes running to her. His favorite spot is on her shoulder or any other high location. She named him Hunter because he stalks around and ATTACKS. Again a huge source of amusement.

My Pets
This weeks Jland Photo Shoot with Krissy is "My Pet". I love showing off my boys, they provide me entertainment with their antics, they love unconditionally and they are a wonderful source of comfort when I'm battling health issues.
Toby is our German Shepard/Black Labrador mix or as we call it - "Shepador". We've had him since he was a puppy. Sonny knew that as soon as I laid eyes on him that I'd be wanting him. It was true, it was love at first sight and he seemed rather taken with us as well. He had 3 other beautiful siblings but, he was the one for us.
Toby loves camping, walks (as long as he can be leash free), playing with his rope bone, chasing squirrels, getting photographed and being with family. Here are a few photographs of him from puppy to now. Isn't he adorable?
Toby Now
Slo Mo AKA Tank is a recent addition to our family. He had been dumped in a warehouse area of town and just left to fend for himself. Sonny was doing a two week temp job and during that time, he would share his lunch with the old guy. When helearned of his fate, he called me to pick him up. You can read his story here -> Slo Mo.
Slo Mo due to his age doesn't do a lot, however, he does like his soft bed, food on time, and as much lovin as you can give. Oh and I forgot he really LOVES car rides! Slo Mo snores, grunts and groans a lot, what do you expect from an old man? He's also gentle and always ready to give you loving attention.
There are two more furry residents in our home. Sheba - who is a male kitty. We were told he was a she, hence the name. By the time we realized differently he was responding to Sheba. He's camera shy and doesn't like to cooperate in front of the camera. I have a photo of him that will be posted in my Sunday Song (photo) Shoot under the theme of tenderness.
Hunter is my daughter's kitty. She will whistle for him like a dog and he comes running to her. His favorite spot is on her shoulder or any other high location. She named him Hunter because he stalks around and ATTACKS. Again a huge source of amusement.
So, there you have been introduced to our other family members. If you played along, I look forward to meeting yours.

Beautiful babies, every one. :) I love black dogs and cats, but you'd never know it ... we've gone from all black animals to orange/red and white now. Strange how that happened. lol

Beautiful creatures. Loved the photo's of Toby as a pup. Tank is incredible for an old man...(loved his story the first time I read it)...Pickles is kind of a toss up between Toby and Tank....she's a mix-Blk Lab and Husky. Hunter looks mischievious as all get out.....
I just noticed there is a theme with all your animals...they're all black....(Hugs) Indigo
