I've been hounded by companies wanting to charge me some mega $$ to get my business listing up on the front page of Google, Yahoo and other search engines. I later called my web master who advised that it was really very simple to do and he would do it for me at a much lower cost to me.
Now I get an e-mail from him and he states he is "Google Certified" and his rate has shot WAY up. To the point that it's no longer affordable. He tells me I shouldn't have snoozed. Well, when I asked it was Christmas and I had other expenses! And now I have the upcoming trip to DC & VA.
Sooooooooooo ... I did a little reading and research online today. OMGosh, I CAN so do this myself and save hundreds of dollars. Yeah, I'm a little proud of myself at the moment. :-) I still have more to learn and more reading to get this all just right.
I truly look forward to hearing what grabs your attention when you do such a search. This will help me in getting my own business out there where it will be seen and found.
How can I show my gratitude to each of you who take the time to help me out? Because I REALLY and I mean REALLY appreciate any help I can get with this.

What kind of help am I wanting from you? I need input. Put yourself in the position of being a bride looking for a wedding photographer. Or a mom looking to have family portraits done. Both in your own local area. HOW would you type in your search? (Okay, I have that part)
Here is where I really NEED the help. Once you have the listings in front of you, WHAT ad words are grabbing YOUR attention?

Just my opinion....when I chose my photographer he had one word that really grabbed me "creative". I was interested in what he considered to be creative. He also had experienced and the rest of the key words but it was creative that did it. I called, we talked and he got the job. Good luck to you.

If I was looking for a wedding photographer, I would type in two words...... Wedding photographer.

Of course, I would like to be able to view weddings, and family/children shots. I would be interested in seeing client reviews, as well.
