Martha needs motivation!


I wrote an entry in my private journal this morning, thought it would be a good one for over here too...
 
I don't know why I'm so indecisive lately. I haven't even felt much like writing never mind making decisions or actually doing something that goes beyond the daily "have to do" stuff. I suppose a lot has to do with being sick. I've had some kind of resilient bug that just keeps coming back or I keep catching everything that's within a mile of me, not sure which. Either way, I still don't feel 100%.
 
Enough whining. I really need to do something to get my workout motivation going again. Maybe if I really pump iron, get back to my 4am kick boxing and get more miles in each day I'd be able to beat the sickness out of myself and start feeling better. Yet, I need to feel better in order to get back to my workouts. This is how the vicious cycle seems to work doesn't it? I need to find a way to get moving again. Help!
 
I have still been walking most days, but it's been more of a leisurely stroll than a determined workout. I usually do two wimpy miles when I walk at all. I was hoping that would get me motivated and jump started, but it hasn't. Instead I wander around with my camera in search of good shots. Speaking of, if you haven't been visiting me over at my photo journal, what are you waiting for!? :-P
 
Anyway, I was running the streets of the Internet yesterday when I came across Lisa's blog. She has a little thing going -- exercise 4 comments, and invited others to steal her graphic and join in. She's doing 1 crunch for each comment, I'm upping it to 10. So, if you want to be really nice to me and really mean at the same time, leave me lots of comments and I'll be looking good and feeling great again soon.

    I have been away so long!!  If I'd read this sooner, I'd be coming back to leave a comment every day.  I may have to try this, maybe on my regular journal.  I hope that you are finally over the crud you've had.  I've been like you, not really wanting to journal much lately.  With two deaths in the family in a week's time, things have been rough here, but I'm starting to feel more like myself.  Take care and happy crunching!

    This is a great idea...and I know I'm certainly lacking in motivation when it comes to excercise.  ::sigh::  You never know, you might see this popping up in my journal too. :)
