Feeling Sad

The Detroit Lions win again, no thanks to Harrington

I just don't see how a single person can stand behind Joey Harrington anymore, he is absolutely horrid. If it wasn't for the four rushing TD's the Lions would have lost another game.

The problem is the Lions won and it will keep Harrington as the starting QB even though he wasn't responsible for the win in no way what so ever. He had a single TD and two INT's and was 10-23 for 97 yards passing.

Kevin Jones had a solid game rushing with two TD's and 26 carries for 58 yards. Artose Pinner and Shaun Bryson combined for 10 carries 109 yards and 2 TD's including Bryson's 77 yarder.

Not much excitement for the receivers since Harrington was only able to manage 10 completions, but one was for a 2 yard TD to Casey Fitzsimmons.

Ask San Diego how long they had to wait for Drew Brees....they considered him a bust until last year remember!!!!!!!!!

Joey has already had three years to prove that he deserves to be a NFL starting QB. He hasn't put together consistant games since he has been with the Lions. How long are we supposed to wait?

We think that Joey is atleast trying but he really has to step it up in the next few games.  Kevin Jones had a good game against the ravens. Many of our wide receivers did good including Roy and Mike Williams.

I want Joey Harrington to throw TD's and not have to rely on our running game that isn't exactly spectacular. His record as a starting QB is horrible and until he proves he can consistantly lead the team I will continue to call for his benching.
