A savior in D-Town?

It looks like a very strong possibility that Joey Harrington just might be benched in favor of Jeff Garcia. Since Garcia is cleared to play and has been take half of the snaps in practice in preparation for Sunday’s game. I hope that Coach Mariucci pulls the trigger and benches the worthless Joey Harrington and puts in Jeff Garcia.

I know some fans just seem to be in denial of the fact that Joey Harrington will never be the QB that he was all hyped to be. At least Jeff Garcia has proven that he is capable of playing well in the NFL which is much more than you can about Harrington.

I hope that Matt Millen decides to draft a QB in the first round in the 2006 draft instead of using 3 straight first round picks on WR’s. I would like to see them have a shot at drafting Vince Young from Texas who has a shot at beating out both of the USC players for the Heisman Trophy.

But that is a long ways away and we still have 2/3’s of the season to go. We definitely need a shot excitement in the offense which has been pretty much anemic to this point.
