Feeling Hopeful

All good things must come to an end

The Detroit Tiger's were on a roll and looking to gain more steam on Saturday, but the White Sox didn't want to cooperate. Our pitching staff just couldn't hold the lead they were given and eventually the White Sox took the lead and won the game.

I guess I shouldn't be so surprised, we lost most of the one run games this year. The relievers that we have in our bullpin just can't get the job done. Maybe we need to ask our starters to pitch complete games and not have to rely on the relivers.

Our batters continue to hit the ball and score runs, but I guess not enough to over come the runs given up by the pitchers.

Losing 4-3 when you have been winning 3-1 for most of the game is a bit disheartening but I have grown used to this with the Tiger's. We have several hitters with batting averages over .300 and even one over .400 (Nook Logan) but we need to reduce the numbers of players left on base and in scoring position.

Thanks for stopping by and yes I am pleasant surprised they are doing this well. I just hope we can be in position for at least a Wild Card come October.

.500 as of May 19 w/ Bonderman sitting pretty at 5-2. I must say I'm surprised Detroit is this good.

    Thanks,
    Jamie
