Feeling Hopeful

Can we reach the .500 mark?

The Tigers are about to embark on a home series with the Texas Rangers that could in fact put us over the .500 mark when it is over. We come into the series 23-25 and had just completed a sweep of the potent Baltimore Orioles.

If our pitching can hold together and our bats continue to breakout of their mini slump just maybe we can sweep the Rangers and climb above the .500 mark. I really would like to see Ivan Rodriguez get his average back above .300 where it should be and couple of out power hitters need to slug a few more homeruns in this series with the Rangers.

You mentioned the temperatures making a difference in the Tiger's performance before and even though you don't have any actual facts to back it up you are probably correct. I would love to see so pictures of the stadium and a couple of Ford Field from the outside. :)
