Shelled Pecans and Inshell Pecans are pouring in from the new season crop of 2006 pecans. Are you ready for the Holiday Seasons? Good food and good times with family and friends are the way I like to spend Holidays with Thanksgiving and Christmas full of joy and good eats to include pecans. Shelled Pecans are some peoples favorite foods for Holiday Seasons and some eat shelled pecans all year round. The shelled nuts are used in baking and other cooked foods but also delicious just raw over ice cream or salads. This is the time of year to buy shelled pecans for the fresh new crop, although they keep in the freezer up to two years. For good news to our website we have included a Buy It Now Store for Inshell Pecans and Shelled Pecans. Buy Pecans and Take a look Happy Holidays. John Pape

The new crop of 2005 shelled pecans are plentyful from the inshell pecan crop. The prices of pecans are doing well also due to shortage of crop yields from all the states. If the pecan crop is short everywhere this year may bring high prices to the pecan growers. Pecan equipment sales will fall but pecan prices should stay up. Thats what I hear in the Pecan News, Views and Blog! for fall season pecan crop 2005. www.papepecan.com john

MANY THANKS to you, John Pape, for all the assistance you offered me yesterday!  You are a truly kind person with truly valuable connections in the Pecan community.  Your contacts proved to be most helpful to me and I am pleased to announce- we are well on the road to fulfilling our harvest!  Best of luck to you, sir- in all that you endeavor.

Hi, this year the big pecan crop is in Oklahoma and more pecan harvesters and tree shakers than I have ever known where sold in the OK State. If you have pecans to harvest check with the buyers of pecans for contacts to harvest and your county agriculture office for leads. If the rainy weather will let up someone will want to harvest your crop. Call us and we can give you some numbers to call for custom harvesting in OK. John Pape 830-372-2850

    Hey John-
My name is Randi and I live in Oklahoma.  i have a pecan grove of over 600 trees.  Our harvesting contractor just dumped us for a better offer and I am desperately seeking help ASAP.  Problem is we are a not-for-profit that helps other not-for-profits (churches, boys and girls clubs, etc.) and we have several organizations lined up to sell our pecans as fundraisers before Christmas.  We have organized about 50 folks to gather and work on November 27th, but I am afraid without equipment, etc. we will never begin to get our nuts harvested.  We are willing to make a fair deal with any company who might assist us.  Do you have any ideas?
