Little Lake

Picture from Hometown

I thought I would post this composite photo/graphic on this page, for the people who follow my journal and share photos.  I do not like the water because it is too plain, and am altering it and adding cattails on a land protrusion in the foreground.  By putting together 4 photos of the shoreline, and creating the sky and water, is how this image developed.

It is amazing what can be done with photos and the right equipment and knowledge.  I am mostly very lost when photographers describe how they shot their photos and what technique they used, but I just enjoy lookint at  the photo.  I especially love water/beach/ pictures they are so peaceful and soothing.  Yet I enjoy hills, trees, mountains, pastures... ohhhh I just love it all I think!!

Hey, I just stumbled onto your journal.  You do very nice work...and of a subject matter I really appreciate.  I like what you have started with this landscape.  I can see where you think the water lacks...something.  I can viualize what you are thinking with the addition of the protruding land with cattails.  I think that would help it a lot.  Another thing to consider, would be, instead of the land protrusion, try a boat dock, or a pier coming from the lower right.  It would provide a very strong leading line into the scene.  The only reason I suggest it, is that I have had that composition in my head for a while, but have not found the scene in which to photograph it.

    Hello,

I noticed in Sara Journal you were having save problems. Just in case you're not fixed I'll share what worked for me and some others:

First check if you have a sign on button very top right of the screen. Click on it and your edit buttons should come back. If they do proceed on/if you don't have the sign on button try this anyway (it fixed mine)

    Shut down all AOL software.
Click AOL icon bottom right taskbar.
    Click System information
    click Utilities tab
In BROWSER section clear cache (should go to 0KB)
The move down to AOL ADAPTER and click REBUILD button
    Click OK and  Close
    RESTART COMPUTER AND SIGN ON
