where to start part 2
At 7 pm, I go across the parking lot to the Scout meeting. There are 5 of us attending the meeting. We were getting a ton of stuff done when the church phone rang. I answered it and it was Ernie asking me to come home because the cops were thereabout something Ethan had said on the bus. I ,.look at M, one of the meeting members, who is a NYC cop and ask him to come home with me. I tell him there are cops there and I am not sure what is going on....
We walk in, I introduce M, and the cops said they were leaving and that it iwas unfounded. So, M said ok, and he left. I recongize some of the cops , and one is the state cop who works at the middle school. Ethan and a friend were talking about action moves and shoot-em ups..and a kid in amovie had taken his Dad's guns and shot up everyone...and some other kid onthe bus heard that, mis-understood and Told his mom that Ethanwas going to do that...Mom called the cops and they came to vist. They asked Ernie if there were weapons in the house, he said no. They asked Ethan some questions, he told them who he had been talking to and a couple of the cops went to talk to that kid, who gave the same story E did. Ernie told the cops that E is a great kid, no trouble, hard worker, just needs to get grades up. is in the Scout band, isin band at school and that he wouldnever think of hurting anyone. When I walked in and they told me what happened, I said No guns or weapons here....Mr state police said that when they get calls like this, they take them seriously and check them out. I told Mr State police that I had taken his seminars at the Pay back your parents night at the school. and that I appreciated them checking this out.
funniest thing that happended during this, before I got home. The phone rang, T answered it and said Just a minute Mr XXX, and one of the cops said 'HUH?" Turns out the cop is the son of E's Scout master! LOL I am sure mrXXX will tell his son that E is a great kid.
I went to finish myScout meeting and tell my freind M what happened and he said it sounds like boys just talkiing!
10 pm...Shewho thinks she is an adult comes to my room and says she is out of lunch food.
Ernie: She, you and I bought 48 packets of the ramen you like last week. Youwent through 48 packets?
She: I was hungry at night
Me; I guess you wil have to go shopping tomorrow after work for more lunch food.
She: I don't have enough money
Ernie: we cashed your pay check on Monday...it was $128...where is the money?
She: I don't know.....
Me: and where is the ring J gave you?
She: J never gave me a ring...\
ME: you told jme he gave you that ring.
She: no, I didn't
Ernie: yes, you did
She I bought it for 14.99...good price for diamonds, huh?
Me: they were fake, not real...and it might have been
a good price but where is the ring?
She: I lost it....

Ethan must have been so scared. Although I understand that these things have to be checked out, but its just sad that society has taken away our children's youth by talking about a movie on a school bus. As for miss ring a ding ding, show her the ring around the tub and have her clean that ring! lol Teens! guess we're not suppose to like em at this stage. My granddaughter 15, told her mom she hated her the other day because she was not allowed to go to a party where there were no chapperones attending. I told my daughter, feel good, your doing your job when she says things like that to you. lol

Glad there wasn't much to the cops being @ your house.

So much drama. Its good though that they'd check the situation out and make sure. Kids shooting up a school happens all too often, better safe than sorry.
