I know, I know....I haven't updated....
Last week I got hit with a virus that ended me in the ER...fever going up to 104, that I could not get to break even with motrin...DR said he had seen a lot of it....I am still slowly getting my energy back. While I was out of it, my Mom came and cleaned the house ....Not that you can tell anymore ( thanks kids!)
I cannot get my pics to load on my laptop ...I Haven't found the program on it to get my pics of the memory card.....hmmmmm
ok...back to our camping weekend....
We stayed at a very very rustic camp...when I say rustic I mean rustic...there was one bath house with a common sink area.....YOu could hear the guys as they were on thier side of the bathhouse doing their stuff, not my idea of fun. Our cabin had NO electricity( thankfully, I brought a lantern) and only had walls half way up and was screened in the other way up. The bunk that I had was held together with yarn, so I slept on the floor. DQ decided to join me on the floor. There were no street lights to light the way to the bath house , so , thankfully, I had our little camping port-a-potty in the cabin in a far corner.....
There was a small beautiful lake that the kids ( and adults too if they wanted) could fish, canoe, kayak or swim in. Son went fishing and caught the biggest thing of the weekend...an old camp chair someone had thrown away the year before.... TEEn went kayaking, without permission, and flipped itint he middle of the lake and had to be rescued, thankfully she had on a lifevest.....

Your trip sounds like quite the adventure. maybe a little more adventure then I would like! :) lol
