I sat one night, in the dirt and sand, looking at the moon

into her kind and gentle light, I looked, it truly made me swoon

my body, and my spirit were weary and so drained

fighting always for the light, can cause a soul such pain

she looked at me with endless love

and wrapped me in her cloak

the darkness, she said, is not to fear, but a place to rest and float

rest here, my warrior, your weary soul, and fear for not no more

you need not fight, nor her not now, just rest inside my night

she wrapped me up, and let me sleep, like I have not slept so long

and when I woke she was still there, and told me now I was strong

she spoke to me, of secret things, of love I know inside

she told me to follow my heart, there is no need to hide

she said when I grew weary and tired, to lay inside her arms

to wrap myself in her warm dark night, to lay down all my arms

for a warrior of the light, needs rest too

and finds it in the dark

one is not better than the rest, there is balance in all, to find, to learn, to mark

she kissed me good day, and asked of me, one very special thing

when my husband rises with his shinny face, of my love for him will you sing?

then she went to where she rests, and winked one time to me

of love in this world that I have felt, that of the grandmother, makes my spirit sing.

I stared today into the Sun and sang a lonely song. I gave much thanks for this life of mine, for the happiness, sadness, pain, and the fun. Sometimes the jorney, to within is long, but there we shall find the light. And though the path is sometimes rough, we must never give up the fight.

Today we sent a warrior to his clearing at the end of his path. You may not believe in his path, you may even hate it. You must believe in the warrior! Even if was you enemy, an honorable enemy is one you must respect! A warrior walks his own path, not yours! Respect the warrior that went home today!

I do! A good enemy is better that a bad friend!

I walked into the desert, where nature rules and reigns. I went there for one purpose, to learn and face my pain! Even though when I look in the mirror, it is a stranger I see. I shall ever have hope, for in that stanger is me!
