Feeling Silly
Again, this past Saturday I decided to take my wide angle lens out with me into my city that I live. Not having the time to go anywhere I thought of a place in my city that I thought would give me that country feel and escape from the city. I went to a place known as "Powderhouse Park" located near Davis Square in Somerville. Although surrounded by a hustle and bustle Boston type city, in itself there is peace and tranquility to be had. I parked my SUV and walked up and just started thinking and looking and shooting to what I thought were some good sights to take pictures of. After the first few, lol, I got the feeling and probably a bit of a fantasy that I was on this shoot for a movie and taking pictures for location purposes, lol !! Hey, might as well have some fun too! lol Any way the more I walked around the more angles I saw but didn't pay to much attention to the brightness and the weather was good but not sunny and once under the trees, I probably should have changed a setting but didn't know how and at that point I was just into shooting and not much else. lol The two pictures of the buildings were across the street from this park and I saw the clouds and thought I would take that as well. One picture here has one person other than myself in it. I happened on a man with a jacket over his face under a tree having a snooze and first thought,is he ok, and so I looked for the movement in his chest area and when I saw him move , moved to leave him be. lol Well lots to be learned but I know I will have fun doing it along the way!

Nice pics. It's all subjective of course, but sometimes overcast is perfect for photos.

Oh, and overcast days are great for many kinds of photography, so don't let that keep you from going out and enjoying your camera.
