Hearing Against All Odds -- Phil Collins

The Super Bowl Assignment

Here's the link to the assignment...give your own answer!

Let's see...what would I like to see as a rule in the Super Bowl...I don't know right off the top of my head, so I'm consulting my fiance, Joey, on this one--he's the football fan.  He says the NFL should build a stadium/dome specifically for the Super Bowl.  Reason being, what if, by chance,  Jacksonville was one of the teams playing on Sunday?  Wouldn't that be considered home field advantage?  Granted, they didn't get there...but who knows.

Now that I thought about it, I think I can agree with John on this one.  I don't think the halftime show is that good, anyway.  I wasn't home to watch the game last year (WORK SUCKS), but if I was, I probably wouldn't have watched the halftime show anyway.  I most likely would have changed the channel to MTV or some other channel that had something else on for halftime.  Here's another one--let people (radio, TV, etc) say "SUPER BOWL" without running the risk of getting sued by the NFL.  Have you heard about this?  I think that's just a scheme for the NFL to make more money!!!

Finally, for the extra credit, I think the Patriots are going to crush the Eagles.  Now don't jump on me, giving me the you-should-go-for-your-state-team speech...dammit, I'm a 49er fan.  My team's been out of it since before the season began.  But that's ok...they'll be back, I hope.

til next time... =)
