Me and my pictures

We went snowtubing yesterday up on Montage Mountain...we had a blast, especially Alexis.  I got off work early so we could go.  The kids were so excited...they even put off going to Grandma's house for the weekend to go.  When we got there a little after 5pm, we thought the snowtubing session was closed!  But then we saw other people with the tubing passes, so we went and got our passes. Whew...I wouldn't want to disappoint the kids...they were so looking forward to this. 

Anyway, after that, we went in the lodge to eat dinner.  Man, the stuff in there's expensive!  I spent about 20 bucks on food for the four of us, and that doesn't include drinks.  No matter, we were there to have fun, not worry about how much it was.  There were so many kids there (from school ski clubs), it was hard for us to find a spot to sit and eat.  That's when we spotted Tony the Tiger walking around.  I just had to get a picture of that.  Then a quick bathroom break, then off we went tubin'!

When we got up there, it was freezing!!!  I mean, it was cold at home, but up there it was about 20 degrees colder.  We did not prepare, and we sure as hell suffered for it.  The kids were better dressed than Joey and I, but they were cold too.  They had a little fire going at the bottom of the hill...it helped.

Other than the chill factor, it was so much fun.  Lexi couldn't get enough!  It was her first time going down by herself (we went about 4 years ago, and she was too little then).  When she went down, all you could see were her feet and her head.  Joey said she looked so cute!!    The little guy also had a great time.  This was his first time going tubing, and he didn't really want to stop.  That was until the wind started blowing...then he was done.

We didn't get home until about 9:30pm.  When we did, the kids went right over to Grandma's house (right across the street) and bragged about the night they had.  It felt good to have a family night to remember (and to rub into Grandma).
