Moonlight

Anxious | original

Moonlight is an original, electronic, classical release. written on my Korg synthesizer. I invented this masterpiece [Christmas 2007]. a very strange time for me [historically]. I been feelin really paranoid bout all the violence in Greenville/Spartanburg. everyone seems broke [financially]. but, due to the Lord's providence, I managed to invest in some new equipment [2006]. this instrumental suite has an eerie, other werldly connection. seein ghosts look outta pictures at me, I decided to interpret lost loved one's views. www.soundclick.com/curcio

Negative Ambiguity

Chillin' | original

Negative Ambiguity is edgy, raw & emotionally charged from the start. I was developing some of the concepts I had explored in my guitar playing, adding synthesizer to fatten things up. "Spanish Inquisition"  is based on an Italian folk song, but this album is full of my most ambitous, original guitar/bass playing. it all started out as chord progressions/music w/o any lyrics in 2005. In the space of a few dayz, I had written the lyrics/melodies for the vocals - experimenting w/ an operatic baritone for "Nervous Breakdown".

Tron Blast

Hopeful | originals

I wrote/recorded Tron Blast in Spring 2006 over a 6-8 week period. I was gettin alot of requests to de-tune my bass guitar and record more solos. I came up w/ some patented bass guitar solos, jammin along w/ the drum trax. then I added Roland sythesizer as counterpoint to spice things up. one of the trax [Dark Wave], is over 10 minutes long. this is a good album to listen to while makin out w/ yer loved one [Instrumental]. everything is uptempo [wide-open] verging on Jazz Rock....contact NeoRockist@aol.com

six-string bass solo

Hopeful | originals

six-string bass solo is basically a 22-minute bass guitar/vocal improvisation that I recorded [1988]. In 2006, I added some Roland synthesizer w/ timpani drums. it's basically about droppin outta the mainstream into the underground music scene [left of center]. complete w/ bass guitar solos & swirling synthesizer. this one's for the dropouts that make their own rules....... the 'Solo Records' cd

Chillin' | original

the 'Solo Records' cd has been around in one form or another since the release of the solocassette in 1992. it was based on a original set that I'd practice at my trailer. after a concert for the mentally ill in Spartanburg, the live show fizzled out. niteclub owners weren't interested in a karaoke singer that sang originals in those dayz. I bought 100 blank cassettes [twice] & pressed over 250 copies altogether in 1995/1996. I wore a fanny pack chock full of original cassettes everywhere I went. I would sell these to people I'd party with. I was at Outside In dabbling in art & playing coffee shops w/ my wife Libby until 2000 when I bought a PA system & began playin my Stratocaster in local niteclubs. I started work on the 'Solo Records' cd in 2005. I recorded all the instruments digitally & added a Roland synthesizer to fatten things up. Libby sang alot of the songs from our live show on the cd. you can get a copy @ www.cdbaby.com/curciomusic2

Born to Lose

Chillin' | originals

"Born to Lose" was originally written/recorded in 1994. I used a 4-track Tascam cassette recorder & released this album on cassette in 1995. I would carry  these wherever I went. I sold about 75 copies to friendz & family for $3 each. By 1999, it had become impossible to sell original cassettes [CD's were popular]. I recorded the entire album from scratch [Spring 2006] - on a 16 track digital recorder and uploaded the mp3 files to www.soundclick.com/curcio

Lost Classics

Happy | originals

"Lost Classics" is a collection of songs in my catalog that I wrote [in the 80's]. back in those dayz, all we had were 4-track cassette recorders. we would play local niteclubs like DawgGone's & Hurricane's in Spartanburg that catered to the undergound music scene....I recorded these songs again [Summer 2006] on a 16 track digital recorder. you can download these songs on www.soundclick.com/curcio .
