Storm
Confident | original
the 2008 version of "Storm" was released before the Hurricane season. I thought the summer sun would burn our house down. I was amazed to find that global warming only lasts a couple of hours at sunset. www.cdbaby.com/all/ricko

classical compositions
Adventurous | my own
I discovered a secret of many classial music composers. alot of composers write solos with or w/o accompaniment. using a concert flute, synthesizers, lead & bass guitar I can do the same thing. it is difficult mastering orchestral instruments. using the instruments that I already know how to play, I'm exploring writing for solo instruments, with or w/o accompaniment. you would appreciate the music I've written/recorded if you ever got the chance to hear it.

2008 bass solos
Discontent | 2008 bass solos
I found out about an Italian bassist [Dragonetti] that was famous for his bass solos. I have the score to his famous solo in E minor. it is easier to write/record my own solo improvisations on bass guitar. Igot the gist of his stuff. there are easier bass solos out there, but then again - Dragonetti's famous bass solo in E minor is not that difficult. especially on bass guitar. Igot 3 more new original bass solos [Trouble l, Trouble ll, & Ricko]. the Trouble l & ll solos are processed like Alphono Johnson's bass guitar parts, but in my own style [funky]. Ricko is a kinda Jaco Pastorius [Weather Report] feel but using a Greek mode [uptempo].

Moonlight
Anxious | original
Moonlight is an original, electronic, classical release. written on my synthesizer. I invented this masterpiece [Christmas 2007]. a very strange time for me [historically]. everyone seems broke [financially]. this instrumental suite has an eerie, other worldly connection.

Negative Ambiguity
Chillin' | original
Negative Ambiguity is edgy, raw & emotionally charged from the start. I was developing some of the concepts I had explored in my guitar playing, adding synthesizer to fatten things up. "Spanish Inquisition" is based on an Italian folk song, but this album is full of my most ambitous, original guitar/bass playing. it all started out as chord progressions/music w/o any lyrics in 2005. In the space of a few dayz, I had written the lyrics/melodies for the vocals - experimenting w/ an operatic baritone for "Nervous Breakdown".
