Round Robin- My perfect scene

This Round Robin Challenge was about showing a photo we took of our idea of a Perfect Scene, and give it a caption.

(You can find the rules and other entries of the challenge over here.)

After going through many, many photos ... and going over all the many, many possibilities for this challenge, I became a bit stuck.    There are an incredible number of places that I enjoy being, that choosing a favorite is pretty much impossible.   The variety is endless:   viewing a sunset, sitting by the river, hanging out with the dogs, listening to good music, sipping wine by a fire,  laying in Stu's arms, etc. etc. etc.

With all of that, the photo that I ended up choosing may surprise you.    But this photo is very symbolic of something greater than it may appear.

We had been in this new house for less than a week, and we were getting tired of eating out, the chaos, and the boxes!   It was one of those stressful times that seemed like it would never end.

I decided to not wait any more for that feeling of "home".   I decided to stop waiting to create my happiness.

I went to the local market and bought what was needed for a nice, yet easy meal...and cooked us up our first dinner in our new house.  We had no furniture to speak of, so we put two snack trays together, grabbed some folding chairs, and dug through boxes for our wine glasses.

Although I knew that easier days would eventually come, I needed to do what was in my power to make it good NOW.  Isn't that what we all need to do most of the time?

That may have been the best meal I'll ever have here.

I call this photo....

"Hope"

seems like your life has often been about moving boxes and new starts. And since I know how this scene -and you- has evolved, hope and fulfillment go hand in hand.

I like the coziness, maybe you can just gaze into each other's eyes and forget everything else. :)
