Doing it with E's
ABC challenge time with Martha, and time for the letter E.
So without further ado, please Enjoy...
The above shot was recently taken from my bedroom window. It's a bald Eagle! Did you "hear" what I just said? From my bedroom window!
He flew over to that branch in our backyard, and was just hanging out over the river, just waiting for his moment to swoop down for his luxurious fish breakfast! I too, waited, hoping to get that moment with his majestic wings spread widely in flight. And although I stood there for quite some time, frozen with camera in hand....this guy was so quick that I barely got a wing tip. Ah well, it was still a magical moment.
This guy that you see here is my boyfriend, Mark. You remember him, the horse that so bravely made a move on me like none other? (Yes, I went back for more). Well, here he is, once again, giving me the Eye.
The "End".

Nancy! Hi there! I've not been here in too long! Back some time ago, I cleared out my alerts, and started over... but I had kept your link on my Favorites list. I seldom have time to visit everyone, but today I came by to say hi, and had a chuckle with the last photo... clever. But the Bald Eagle .... so close to your home! You must live near a lake. I enjoyed your photos. Hope you are well. bea

OOOh I love 'the end',LOL
Yesterday a big beautiful hawk swooped down into Miss Queenie and Miss Mollys pen and stole a piece of chicken then came by later to try for another.
Love your photos
And what a lovely view you have from your bedroom window.

I've been waiting to see an eagle in the wild, no luck so far. My mom has seen a few. We do have a pretty red hawk that harrasses the local crows daily, but no eagles.
Great shots!

A Bald Eagle perched outside your bedroom window?!? That's incredible. The most we an muster around here are wild parakeets (yes, apparently years ago someone's pet parakeets got loose and they survived and bred in the neighborhood ... now they fly around making the most unusual squawking noises).
Best,
Marty
