A heartful prayer for a heartful man


President Clinton is scheduled to undergo emergency bypass surgery, so we will pray for him tonight at church.

We call these operations "cabbages", short for CABG: Coronary artery bypass graft. You use the Mammary artery ( an artery on the inside of the chest wall) and/or veins from the leg, and bypass the blockage by sewing them above and below the blockage.

The chance of full recovery is good.
