Feeling Hopeful
Hearing Whatever Donna is playing in the chat room! ;o)
The Beginning
Those who know me well will understand if I ramble on other subjects, but as MS touches every facet of our lives, it's all still "on topic"! ;o) My friend Chris suggested I do this, and others have asked as well. As long as AOL can keep the journal program working, I think it's a capital idea! Chris would prefer seeing a "Joe Friday" type approach to the Journal, eg, "just the facts, ma'am!" He's going to be disappointed in that I fear, because I love to write! Hopefully, I'll keep it short and if not short, then at least entertaining!
I was dx'd with RR MS in July 1999 after many years of testing and misdiagnoses, usually culminating in "it's all in your head". Well they were right! It is! I've been on disability since July 2000. I was most fortunate to find an MS support group online at AOL Life - MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS who have become my 2nd family! Since I'm a computer geek and researcher by nature, I created a web site, MS Chatters, to honor their support with a "cyber home" and to share our pooled MS research information. We also send out occasional mailings to a "subscriber only" mailing list to share articles of interest and new research on MS. Subscriber information can be found on the web site.
