Beijing

Life in Beijing can be exciting indeed. A city of 15 mill plus maybe another million coming in to work, shop or as a tourist each day. Traffic is the pits really. Horns always blaring and drivers who think they know how to drive but really are piss poor at this. They remind me of some drivers from Iowa. Kind of makes me wonder and then this in itself is a good subject.

Stayed near the west train station and liked the hotel exept for the sex calls at 1 am but asked the girl if she understood english? Yes. Good I have no balls since I lost them to cancer and cannot have sex anymore. Her reply was oh am very sorry so sorry. Ok honey do not call me again. Makes me wonder why I stay in a hotel. It does happen. In Shanghai did not receive any but in July was in Beijing at a different hotel and no one called me. So.........

Try going to the big square. there one can meet many people from all over the world. Yep and at one time a few years back meet a guy from my college days and today still do not hear from him. Love the city. Shoppping for books is what I do and then head back to Xinxiang in Henan Prov where I live and work. Go by express train. Fast and very clean. Love it very much.

Ok been to the tourist traps and find them really a pain in the ass but then my ex wife was a bigger pain along with my mother but then woman can be this way. My ex was never eager to know about a foreigner land and when informed I was coming here she just told me good bye. Ok I said bye and divorced the woman. She cleaned me out but what the hell. She never did see me nor tried to get a hold of me but what the hell she was just a wicked old witch like her mom. Anyway she will never survive here and she might be pissed off with the people, traffic and way of life. For me no problem really and love it more than I did in Iowa although Iowa has been in the sewer for many years.  I found that there were no jobs even for me when I returned back to school at a later age.

Beijing has almost anything really. Good places to devour food, places to buy good quality clothes or computer equipment and of course people eager to try to talk with you and show how well they can speak English. My Chinese is so bad the chinese cannot understand me at times but what the hell. I do not care. I simply try and this is important. My students well er are eager to learn but afriad to talk for fear of making a mistake. The only mistake I made was being born I tell them and get a laugh as well. Ok so much for this.

Beijing next year will have the olympics but a word of cauton stay away until after and watch them on tv. Everything will be 4 times the price of today despite efforts to try and curb price gourging.  Many people will I hear depart the city as they want to get away from all this. Ok go and enjoy yourself. I will of course stay here and not be bothered as why should i be a sucker to these assholes who want to charge an arm and a leg for what?

Then I can relax and be happier. My students will do the same and will see what develops as well. Then well or if  and maybe things might be a little different but who in the hell cares and who knows. So life continues on here. It is afine city really. Good subways fast and can get you to where you wantto go ina short time. The buses are good and plently of them. Newer and clean whichis good. Outside of this well life still is the same and we all must go on.

Still Beijingis Beijing. I wonder what the old emperors will think if they can come back and walk around. Might be scared as hell with the traffic and all the cars, trucks and so forth. Not many horses walking around. Then again who will want to walk a horse in the city today. Ok so..
