Another Day

The new little house...
 
 
I've went from sleeping on a queen sized bed to sleeping on a single bed. My daughters have my bed, my TV, my VCR, my DVD...I'm left with the bottom part of a bunk bed. Amazingly though, at night the bed changes sizes, when two feet are added to it. Corky said their bed is a three season bed - it has no spring. Yeah, I know, corny. I told Corky if things got worse (corny jokes) I'm going to have to ask her to stop helping me.
 
I took the advice to listen to Classical Music because it supposedly soothes the soul...all it did for me was irritate me and I found it had no proper tune. After I turned off the classic music I heard Corky singing and our dog, Bullett was barking. Finally, I asked Corky that if she MUST sing - atleast sing something the dog doesn't know. I do not know what was worse, classical music or Corky and the dog.
 
Noticed how the trouble with living is - it's so daily? We must keep a sense of humor, though. Nah, you don't have to agree with me, but it is quicker! LOL

    Your house looks beautiful and the trees and yard with space make a picturesque setting.    Perhaps you should try out for the replacement for Jay Leno as he will be retiring  lol  !    Corky could write your material!    I got a little tapestry rug at Big Lots for $7 dollar that I sleep on with a Chase Louge (worn out) cushion to make my mattress more firm for my bad back.   I am not looking forward to working on my cabin addition today in the late afternoon when the shade from my Pecan Tree is over the construction, but I keep thinking of all the space I will have this coming winter.    My neighbor is helping me with the lifting but I still end up straining myself and halt working for several days and then start again.    At least the new medication I am taking is helping me but every day is a challenge.     I hope to get a job through the State of Illinois Office of Rehab Services that will not be strainuos and I have difficulty sitting in a chair for hours also.    Mark
